In 2008, there were three big car companies that were battling for survival from congressional loans. There were three attempts in the 1990s to make a "world car"- a car that can be sold all over the world. However, there were some challenges that made this "world car" impossible to be sold all over the world. Some people in parts of the world preferred a different type of car, price of gasoline, various regulations governing cars, and so on. In the meantime, the auto industry continues to spread throughout the world geographically speaking. Another change that is currently helping the industry is that Internet franchises created worldwide sales centers that did not exist before. Although these new opportunities are here, the success or failure has effects beyond the country that we can not control.
1)The Internet franchises are making sales centers available worldwide.
2) Some people prefer a different type, size, color, and so on for the vehicle.
